Katharine Shaw

Kate was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming. She finished high school in Clark County, graduating from Columbia River High School. Kate graduated with honors from University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Law and Society. She went on to attend Seattle University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate. While attending law school, Kate worked as an intern for Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's office prosecuting Domestic Violence crimes as well as DUI's.

Kate returned to Clark County after graduating from law school to work as a prosecutor for Clark County Prosecuting Attorney's office. While working as a prosecutor, Kate honed her trial skills carrying a caseload of various misdemeanors (DUI, Possession of Marijuana, driving infractions, etc.) in addition to felony Domestic Violence crimes. As an associate with Wheeler, Montgomery, Sleight & Boyd, Kate focuses on criminal trial law, family law, and domestic relations.
